Mancini doesn't fear City axe

Roberto Mancini says he isn't worried about his future at Manchester City, despite his team failing to make it beyond the group stages of the Champions League.
The Premier League champions have endured a torrid time in Europe for the second year running, picking up just three points from their five matches thus far.
Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid spelt the end of another Champions League campaign for City, with the Spanish giants and Borussia Dortmund confirming their places in the last-16.
While Mancini's men could still qualify for the Europa League the Italian's failure to take them beyond the group stages for the second year running has seemingly thrown his future at the Etihad Stadium into doubt.
With Roberto Di Matteo having been given the boot after Chelsea's defeat to Juventus on Tuesday there have been reports that City could follow suit.
However, the former Inter Milan boss says he has no concerns about being given the sack, claiming their two years in the Champions League have provided the club with an invaluable learning experience.
Asked if he was worried about being sacked, Mancini said: "I don't fear this.
"If we think, as a team and a club, we can win the Champions League after two years in it, then we are crazy."
Much like Chelsea, City will be looking to lift themselves when they face the Blues in a massive match on Sunday.
City fans can take solace from the fact they are currently top of the Premier League after last week's 5-0 win over Aston Villa, with Mancini's men 13/10 to retain their title this season.
