William Hill spokesman, Richard Thomas, said: “The opening day of the Ryder Cup match at Medinah showcased all that is great in team matchplay golf. At one point in the scoreboard in the morning was all blue, before the home team levelled the session at 2-2. The afternoon was a different story and without the immense performance from Nicolas Colsaerts, it would have been 4-0 to the USA. Betting in-play yesterday was frenetic and we expect even more action over the weekend.”
