Murray To Take Djokovic Crown And Become World Number One!

Andy Murray bounced back from a set down to beat Tomas Berdych, but faces stiffer competition when he takes on Novak Djokovic on Wednesday and Murray is offered at 6/5 with William Hill to beat the world No.1.  Djokovic is 8/13 to win the match and 13/8 to do it in straight sets as he did against Jo Wilfried Tsonga. Andy Murray is now 2/1 to be the World  No.1 by the end of 2013.

In the other match of the day Tomas Berdych takes on Jo Wilfried Tsonga with both needing a win to be in with a chance of qualifying for the semi finals. Tsonga is 5/4 to bounce back from his opening defeat to Djokovic with Berdych the 4/7 favourite. A straight sets victory for Berdych is 6/4.

“Murray is the man of the moment and with home support on his side he could well upset the odds. We also think he is a genuine contender to be the World No.1 come this time next year”, said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
