Bookies Slash The Odds Of White Easter

With snow falling over many parts of the country, William Hill have cut the price of a white Easter day in London from an original 16/1 to 10/1. Edinburgh is the shortest price it has ever been at 6/1, with Cardiff a 10/1 shot.
 
William Hill are also offering 2/1 that a freezing temperature is recorded on the UK mainland at any point on Easter Day.
 
“We have never had such large white Easter liabilities and a for the first time we are sweating on snow falling on Easter day,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
