Bookmakers William Hill have cut the price of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge having twins from 33/1 to 25/1 following a splurge of bets overnight and can report money for Kate to have a natural birth at 4/6. Victoria & George have been the best backed names in the first 12hrs since the announcement was made and they are both offered at 10/1.

“Kate’s condition is apparently very common in mothers expecting twins and we have had to cut the price accordingly,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill are now speculating on the gender of the baby and offer 10/11 that it is a boy and the same price for a girl.

The weight of the baby betting makes between seven and eight pounds the 9/4 favourite but William Hill are offering 6/1 that the baby is over 10Ibs!
