Frank Lampard is confident Chelsea will finish the season on a high note after they strengthened their grip on third place in the Premier League with a 2-0 win against West Ham

The veteran England international midfielder, who has won FA Cups, championship titles and a Champions League medal, described the victory against his former club at Stamford Bridge as 'one of my best days' as he scored his 200th goal for the Blues.

However, Lampard insists it is all about the team and he is delighted with the form they are displaying as they chase silverware on two fronts in the FA Cup and Europa League respectively, while Champions League qualification via the Premier League was boosted by the win over the Hammers.

Chelsea now sit in third place above Tottenham, who slipped to a 1-0 home defeat against Fulham on Sunday, and more importantly five points ahead of Arsenal in fifth spot.

Lampard said: "Everyone keeps talking about the goalscoring record, I would rather people kept quiet. The important thing is trying to score goals to win games.

"We are in good form and everyone is at it. There is a good feeling around the place and we need to carry it on until the end of the season."

Chelsea are 1.14 to secure a top four finish, and can be backed at 4.50 to retain the FA Cup and 3.50 for the Europa League.
