Mancini plans summer spending spree

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed that he is already making plans to sign a host of players in the summer
City have struggled in their defence of the Premier League title and are 8.50 to come out on top this season, and also failed to progress from the group stage of the Champions League for a second successive campaign.
Now's the time we can close in on some good players for the summer.

Mancini sold Mario Balotelli to AC Milan during the January transfer window and brought in no new players to the Etihad Stadium but that is all about to change when the season is over.
The Italian said: "It's difficult in January to find really good players for us. Clubs don't want to sell now, but maybe they will in the summer. We need to work now, so that it is not like last year.
"Last year we didn't work well. It's important we start now. Now's the time we can close in on some good players for the summer.
"I have meetings with Txiki (Begiristain) every week and we talk about the summer. It will be easier to get players in the summer if we work hard, well and quickly now.
"You can't start looking at players in May because all the good ones are gone and it becomes impossible."
City are 8.50 to beat Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday which will leave them seven points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United. Sergio Aguero is 5.50 to open the scoring against Brendan Rodgers' side.
