Adebayor U-turn stuns Spurs

Tottenham's hopes of claiming a top-four Premier League spot this season have been dealt a blow after Emmanuel Adebayor decided he would play at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 28-year-old Togo international had initially planned to miss the tournament because of a row over team security and unpaid bonuses, but has now reversed his decision.
He will go to South Africa where the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on 19th January, is being played, and may miss up to six Spurs games.
It is unclear whether he will be available for Saturday's match at QPR, a clash Andre Villas-Boas' side can be backed at 1.83 to win.
Adebayor has already met up with the Togo squad, 21.00 to top Group D at the Africa Cup of Nations, in Ghana for their pre-tournament training camp, but Spurs are hoping he will return to London and play in this weekend's game before flying on to South Africa.
Villas-Boas will now have only one senior striker - Jermain Defoe - to rely on, although the England international has been in fine form this season, finding the net 14 times in 28 appearances.
