Dzeko hoping for Wembley start

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is praying he will get a chance to feature in the FA Cup Final, with his future at the club now hanging in the balance.

The Bosnia international has scored 14 goals this season, and is 9/2 to open the scoring against Wigan Athletic at Wembley, but has hinted that he could be heading for the exit door this summer.

Dzeko was an unused substitute when the Blues last lifted the famous old trophy against Stoke City two years ago and will again have to settle for a place on the bench against the Latics this time.

Manchester City are 7/1 to beat Wigan 3-0 while the chances of Roberto Martinez's side winning the FA Cup are available at 9/2.

Boss Roberto Mancini is planning to start with the Argentinian pairing of Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez in the two main attacking roles.

Dzeko insists: "We will see. Everything is open (regarding the future). Everyone is hoping and everyone wants to play at Wembley.

"I don't think about that but I think that's not important. It's just important to win it. It means a lot to the club, to the fans, to us players, to everyone."
