Fletcher hails depth of United squad

Darren Fletcher admits the intensity of Manchester United's training this season is a key factor behind them currently leading the Premier League table
The Red Devils take on Sunderland at Old Trafford today and will hope to at least maintain the six-point gap that now exists between them and rivals Manchester City.
Fletcher is due to start on the bench against the Mackems, but Nemanja Vidic is set to start his first game in nearly four months.
The influential Serbian defender will come in as a straight replacement for Jonny Evans, who is expected to be on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring strain in last weekend's derby victory at the Etihad Stadium.
And Fletcher firmly believes United have an extra edge to their play this season - both on and off the pitch - having lost the title to City on the final day of last term.
The Scotland midfielder insists: "There is so much competition for places at the club. Some of the matches at the training ground are really intense because everyone just wants to play and be involved.
"That is great for the manager, especially when you get the number of injuries that we have had. It feels good to be six points clear but it is now important that we kick on."
