Murray motivated for more glory

British number one Andy Murray insists his US Open success has left him hungry for major prizes.
Murray lost four grand slam finals before finally securing one of the biggest prizes in tennis last year, after picking up the Olympic gold medal in London.
The Scot managed to pick up the Brisbane International title last week and now has his sights set on the Australian Open, which begins on Monday, having twice suffered defeat in the final in 2010 and 2011.
He told the Daily Telegraph: "The US Open and the Olympics made me extremely motivated.
"It wasn't a case of, 'Oh, everything's done now'. It's taken a long time to get there and to win those sorts of events.
"I know the feeling when you do win them now and it's worth all of the work that you put in."
Prior to his US Open success many speculated on the reasons why the world number three hadn't managed to pick up a grand slam title.
Murray believes he can now put all the criticism behind him and focus on his game after his success at Flushing Meadows.
He added: "In the past, there were loads and loads of questions. I wasn't physically strong enough. I wasn't mentally strong enough. I didn't listen to my coaches. I was spoilt. Whatever it was, none of that really bothers me any more.
"I'm just looking for ways to keep improving."
