Clarke wants strong finish

West Brom boss Steve Clarke has called on his side to push for as high a finish as possible ahead of Swansea's visit on Saturday.

The Baggies will leapfrog eighth placed Swansea if they secure the win on Saturday and could find themselves in seventh place in the Premier League table depending on results elsewhere after this weekend's round of fixtures.

Relegation is no longer a concern at the Hawthorns, but Clarke doesn't want his side to coast through the remaining fixtures, although he admits a place in a European competition next season may be out of reach.

"Now you look, with 10 games to go, that we could still break the 50 point barrier with a reasonable run of results," said the Baggies boss.

"Hopefully we can break it by more than one or two points and get towards the mid 50s or top end of the 50s and make it a really good season.

"But I think it is now too far away to hope we can get into the European positions."

West Brom can be backed at 21.00 to secure a top six finish and 2.45 to see off the Swans on Saturday.

Baggies trio Chris Brunt, Goran Popov and Romelu Lukaku are all available for this weekend's fixture after they missed the defeat at Chelsea last time out, while Swansea pair Kemy Agustien and Chico Flores are missing through injury.
