Redknapp targets new recruits

Harry Redknapp hopes QPR's incredible 1-0 victory at Chelsea will help him to attract new players to Loftus Road, although he has missed out on signing Joe Cole.
QPR secured the shock result of the season thanks to Shaun Wright-Phillips' 78th-minute winner against his former club at Stamford Bridge, but Redknapp knows he must bring several new players in, if his side are to have any chance of avoiding relegation.
QPR are currently 4/9 to be relegated while Wigan Athletic are 9/5 to go down and Reading 1/7.
Redknapp had hoped to entice Liverpool midfielder Cole topped to Loftus Road, but the 31-year-old has opted to return to his first club, West Ham United.
The QPR boss said: "If I can improve the squad in the window it will give us a chance. This win is very important for us when it comes to signing players.
"They might think that now we do have a chance and it would be nice to try and help us get out of this mess and achieve something. Let's be up for the challenge.
"I lost Joe who would have been my first signing. He probably looked here and thought 'Harry I love you but you're not going to stay up'. I like Joe and he would have been good for me. He's West Ham and they love him there. I thought he was coming for sure but West Ham came in for him."
