Sturridge to take a central role

Brendan Rodgers has plans to deploy new signing Daniel Sturridge as a central striker at Liverpool, leaving top scorer Luis Suarez to drop into a deeper role.
Sturridge has arrived from Chelsea to add some much-needed firepower to the Reds squad, with Suarez having scored 15 of their 34 Premier League goals this season.
Rodgers told reporters: "I think for Daniel his best position will be straight through the middle with his pace.
"Luis will play for the common good of the team. I spoke with Luis at length on this subject a number of times, this has been the plan for a few months.
"Wherever he plays he will make the same movements and he will find the space because he is a world-class player. It is not a problem at all."
Sturridge could make his Reds debut on Sunday when Liverpool face a potential banana-skin FA Cup third round tie at non-league Mansfield Town.
