Star striker Luis Suarez has vowed to remain with Liverpool beyond the summer, even if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The 26-year-old Uruguayan has netted 22 goals in all competitions already this season and has been linked with a possible move away from Anfield if the Reds fail to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.
However, Suarez, who is 3.75 to be the leading scorer in the Premier League this season, told the Daily Mail: "I will wait until the end of the season and see how we are doing. I am prepared to wait until that time.
"But I want to say now that, if you want to know what will happen to me if we don't qualify for the Champions League, then I will say this - I have a contract with Liverpool and I am very happy here. I will stay.
"I hope (to be at Liverpool) for a very long time because it's a massive club that kids dream about playing for."
Liverpool have a massive task on their hands this Sunday when they head to the Etihad Stadium to take on champions Manchester City.
Earlier this season Suarez was on target in a 2-2 draw between the two sides on Merseyside and he is 7.00 to open the scoring on Sunday, with the Reds 7.00 to secure a 1-1 draw against the Citizens.
