Wenger warning on English future

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has urged the Premier League to take a good look at itself after no English club made it through to the Champions League quarter-finals.
Wenger was speaking after his side earned a superb 2-0 win at Bayern Munich, but that was still not enough for the Gunners to reach the last eight because of a 3-1 first leg defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
"If you think we had Manchester City and United, Chelsea and Arsenal all out by the quarter-final - it's a long time since that happened," Wenger said.
"We have to take that into consideration in the way we think about the future of the Premier League.
"It's a massive disappointment for English football. We accept the rest of European football has caught back on us."
This season is the first since 1995-96 that no English club has reached the quarter-finals, with both holders Chelsea and Manchester City crashing out at the group stage.
Manchester United, like the Gunners, lost out in the last 16, going down 3-2 on aggregate to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
In Wednesday night's other tie Malaga won 2-0 at home to FC Porto to complete the quarter-final line-up, which includes fellow Spaniards Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Bayern are joined in the last eight by Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, with Paris St Germain, Galatasaray and Juventus completing the field.
Barcelona are 2.75 to win the competition, with Real 3.75 and Bayern 4.50.
