Ferguson has faith in Hernandez

Javier Hernandez is ready to take out his frustrations on Reading in the FA Cup this coming Monday night at Old Trafford.

The Manchester United striker was bitterly disappointed not to have featured in the 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in midweek.

Hernandez didn't make it off the bench at the Bernabeu, admitting it has always been one of his ambitions to play at the home of the Spanish giants.

But 'Chicharito' is set to lead the United attack against the Royals, with boss Sir Alex Ferguson determined to keep his squad fresh with commitments still on three fronts this term.

And Sir Alex has no doubts his Mexican forward will continue to play a pivotal role when he is called upon.

The Red Devils chief admits: "Whenever Javier plays, he delivers. He has 14 goals already this season, and he will get ample opportunity and will score more than 20.

"There were a lot of disappointed players the other night. Nani and Ashley Young are two international footballers. I find it hard to explain that I have left them out."

Hernandez can be backed at 5.00 to score the first goal against the Royals on Monday, while United are 1.22 to win the match and secure a place in the next round.

Manchester United can be backed at 3.50 to clinch the FA Cup this season and Chelsea are 5.50 to secure the trophy.
