Warnock expects toughest test yet

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is readying his side for their toughest assignment yet as they take on Manchester City in the fifth round of the FA Cup at the Etihad Stadium.

The Whites have enjoyed a fine campaign in the cup competitions this season, knocking out top-flight clubs Everton and Southampton on their way to the last eight in the Capital One Cup.

In the FA Cup Leeds won 2-1 at home to Spurs in the fourth round, setting up a clash with the reigning Premier League champions in round five.

The Whites are 8.00 to reach the last eight at the expense of the Citizens and 8.00 to secure a draw in Manchester on Sunday, with Warnock telling the Evening Press: "I don't think anyone's done better than us (in the Cups), but this is by far the toughest one.

"They are champions, we are away from home and it is the only competition they have got left to win. It is difficult, but we will enjoy it with no league points at stake.

"In many ways the Cup runs we have had this season have made our league form that bit more frustrating, because it has shown what ability we have got."

City are 1.20 to defeat Leeds in 90 minutes on Sunday, while they are 3.25 to go on and win the FA Cup for the second time in three seasons.

The last time the two sides met in the FA Cup, Leeds romped to a 5-2 victory at Maine Road in the third round in January 2000.
