Bendtner not against Spurs transfer

On-loan Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner has admitted he would not be against a move to Arsenal's fierce rivals Tottenham, if he were to leave his parent club in the summer.

The 24-year-old has found himself out of favour for some time at the Emirates, and moved to the Serie A champions having spent last season on loan at Premier League club Sunderland.

Bendtner has yet to feature prominently for Juventus in this campaign making only five appearances thus far, and when asked if whether he would be willing to play for Spurs if Arsenal were to dispense of his services, the Danish international admitted the lure of continuing his career with Andre Villas-Boas in North London would be very tempting.

"History is filled with examples of players moving between rival clubs and I can't rule out clubs due to where I might have been in the past," he told bold.dk.

"It might not be the best idea but if the project matches my ambitions I would have to be interested.

"I still have a great relationship with London, which is a city that I adore.

"I have a lot of friends in London and there are a lot of great clubs in London, so I wouldn't rule out a return."

Juventus entertain reigning champions Chelsea in their next Champions League match on Tuesday, and are rated as 1.72 to claim the victory, with the visitors 4.50.
