Tricky Ties For Tottenham...Hero Of Madrid Set To Stay

Tottenham have a tricky run in over the next eight games and William Hill are offering odds on how many points they pick up over that run of Premier League matches. Given their fine form over the course of the season so far, they are 9/4 to pick up between 18 and 24 points and 13/8 to pick up 14-17 points. If, however, they capitulate they are 25/1 to pick up eight or fewer.
Spurs are 15/8 to be in third place after their next eight games and 5/4 to be in fourth.
“The next eight games are vital to Spurs’ season and the odds suggest that Spurs will hold onto that fourth spot despite a few tricky ties,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
After Manchester United managed to bring a draw home from the Bernabeu on Wednesday, William Hill offer Even money (from 5/4) that they qualify for the quarter finals of the Champions League and 9/1 they win the tournament outright.
There had been rumours circulating about the long term future of David de Gea but after a fantastic performance between the sticks, William Hill offer 8/15 that he starts United’s first game of the 2013/14 season.
