Big Freeze: Snow To Hit Eastern Cities As Record Coldest Temperature Cut!

With the forecast suggesting that we could have the coldest ever recorded temperature on the mainland this week, William Hill have cut the price about a temperature of less than -27.2C occurring this winter from 8/1 to 6/1. There has also been a load of cash for snow to fall on Xmas day along the East coast and as a result a White Christmas in Aberdeen is now 7/4 from 2/1. Edinburgh is 2/1 from 5/2, Newcastle 3/1 from 4/1, Leeds 4/1 from 5/1 and London is in to 3/1 from an original 8/1.

“I have been doing the weather betting for a decade and have never seen anything like it. Last year we were 25/1 that we would see temperatures below -27.2, now it is just a 5/1 shot,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
