With the three potential 2020 Olympics hosts set to hand in their candidature portfolios to the IOC on Tuesday, William Hill believe Tokyo are currently leading the race to hold the world’s biggest sporting event in seven year’s time. The Olympics is 4/6 to be heading to Japan, with Istanbul 5/2 and Madrid the 3/1 outsiders.

“Tokyo may have already hosted two Games but so had London and the third time they struck gold by hosting the best ever,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Tokyo could well follow suit.”
