Christmas Number One Single: HMV & William Hill Agree The Justice Collective Can Beat The X Factor!

William Hill make the Hillsborough Charity Single by The Justice Collective their 1/8 red hot favourite to win the race for the Christmas number one. James Arthur, the winner of the X Factor, has it all to do and can be backed at 5/1, whilst Gabrielle Aplin (John Lewis Ad is 20/1). The two outsiders in the market, who could defy the odds are 1PoundFish and Jenn Bostic both of whom are 33/1.
“The Justice Collective ticks all the boxes for the Christmas number one but we have seen a few surprises in recent years and we might just see one this year from the likes of 1PoundFish, Jenn Bostic or even Gangnam Christmas Style,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
"The Christmas charts have become a little less predictable since Rage Against the Machine denied the X-Factor another sure-fire Xmas no.1 a couple of years back, so anything now seems possible, but The Justice Collective's cover of the classic Hollies track 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother', which is being released in aid of the Hillsborough families' campaign for justice, looks like the song to beat this year - we're seeing a lot of interest from media and public alike."
